The situation
Priya runs operations at Bluebonnet Home Services in Round Rock. They'd built the business entirely on referrals over the years: good work, happy customers, people telling their neighbors. Reliable until it wasn't.
The problem with referrals is you can't control the volume. Some months were great. Others were slow for no clear reason. They had no website, no Google Business listing, and zero presence online. If someone didn't already know someone who'd used them, Bluebonnet didn't exist.
Priya wanted a lead channel they could actually count on. Not ads. She'd seen too many businesses get hooked on paid traffic they couldn't afford to turn off. She wanted organic search.
What we did
We started with the website. Simple, clear, easy to navigate: pages for each service, the coverage area spelled out, pricing that didn't make people guess. Each service got its own dedicated page written around what people in the Austin metro were actually typing into Google: "house cleaning Round Rock TX," "home services Cedar Park," and a lot of variations on those.
The Google Business Profile had never been set up. We built it out properly (photos, services, hours, everything) and put a simple review process in place that made it easy for customers to leave feedback without it feeling like a chore. They went from zero reviews to a 4.9 average with over 60 in a few months.
The last part was content. We published pages for neighboring cities and articles answering the questions homeowners search for before they hire someone. That kind of content takes time to kick in but it doesn't stop working once it does.
What happened
Six months after launch Bluebonnet was ranking number one for their main keyword. Over 40 qualified leads were coming in every month through organic search. The referral business was still there, just not the only thing anymore.
What the client said
"We had no online presence before. Now we rank on the first page of Google and get consistent leads every week. The team at Camel genuinely cares. They're partners, not just vendors."
